Role: Mechanical Design Engineer (Hybrid)
Salary: GBP 40,000 : GBP 50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Type: Permanent
Location: Liverpool (Hybrid work available)
My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Liverpool on a permanent basis.
The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
: BSc / BEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar
: 4 or more years of industry experience working in similar Mechanical Design role
: Ideally have some experience with process equipment and automation
: Knowledge of manufacturing processes and instrumentation
: Excellent proficiency with CAD software : SolidWorks is desirable
: Good mathematical and general engineering knowledge
: The ability to understand system requirements
: Be self:motivated with excellent attention to detail
: Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
: Able to travel nationally and internationally on occasion
The Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve:
: Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings
: Leading client projects to convert ideas into designs
: Working on new product concepts
: Being involved in the product design and development process using CAD
: Leading manufacture, construction, installation and maintenance documentation
: Working with high precision instrumentation products
: Perform detailed calculations
: Conducting design reviews
