Job Description
As a Maintenance Planner you will be tasked with the following;
* Develop and manage maintenance schedules to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
* Maintain, operate and develop the businesses CMMS.
* Coordinate with the engineering team to prioritise and allocate resources for maintenance activities.
* Monitor and track the performance of maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed tasks and upcoming requirements.
* Proactively identify and address potential maintenance issues to prevent equipment failures.
* Collaborate with external contractors and suppliers to support maintenance operations.
* Implement and improve maintenance planning processes for optimal results.
* Support the Engineering & Manufacturing department with data analysis and reporting on equipment performance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Maintenance Planner should have:
* Experience of running/using a CMMS system
* Understanding of legal compliance requirements
* Good health and safety knowledge
* Time served in either mechanical or electrical engineering
* Manufacturing background
