12 month secondment/fixed term contract
Base: Norseman House, South Queensferry, Edinburgh (East ACC)
The Ambulance Control Centre in the Scottish Ambulance Service is seeking a dynamic experienced Service Manager to lead the Unscheduled Care service for this 12 month period.
Working within the National Operations Directorate, the postholder will be part of the Senior Leadership and Management team in ACC responsible for operations of 999 calls and dispatching resources to patients in Scotland. They will also support the planning and coordination of new and ongoing improvement initiatives for the duration of the contract.
Ideal candidates will possess strong interpersonal, communication, planning, organisational and analytical skills, and the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines. Proven leadership and experience managing complex multidisciplinary and multilayered teams, ideally within NHS Scotland or a similar organisation, are essential.
