S&R Smith and Son, West Thurrock (part of the Lockwood Group of Companies) specialise in general haulage & distribution in and around the South East of England. New business developments on the horizon are allowing us to recruit experienced HGV drivers. We are looking for drivers to be based from S&R Smith and Son, RM20 4EL. Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off days Hours: 42 hours per week / 12 hours per shift - guarenteed hours based on a full working week, additional hours may be required based on business requirements. 42 hours is the paid weekly average (3.5 shifts per week) and will differ week on week. You will be reliable and punctual and have a flexible approach Good verbal communication with excellent customer service skills and a professional approach Previous Class 1 experience is preferred but not essential.
