About Nightingale Nursing & Care Home: Nightingale Nursing & Care Home is based in the centre of Edwinstowe, near Mansfield. The home, although purpose-built, has been made very homely and has a selection of garden areas in line with Jasmine's values and ethos. The home provides personal, nursing and dementia care to 49 residents. Role Responsibilities as a Care Assistant You'll join our team of dedicated Care Assistants to provide the highest possible level of care in supporting and assisting our residents in all aspects of daily living, including providing personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating. You'll be responsible for promoting our resident's independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing. You'll complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, ensuring that 90% and above is achieved during all Monthly Daily Charts Audits. Ensure you are 100% current with all your mandatory training throughout the year. Role Requirements as a Care Assistant Clear motivations and/or relevant experience. Residing 20 minutes or less near to the care home. Ability to work under pressure. Written and oral communication skills. A caring and nurturing attitude. A positive and enthusiastic mindset.
