The Role
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet required quality standards. Working closely with production teams, suppliers, and management, you will monitor quality, investigate issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
Key Responsibilities:

Conducting inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Monitoring and analysing production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Investigating non-conformances, defects, and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventative actions.

Developing, reviewing, and maintaining quality documentation, procedures, and work instructions.

Supporting product development and process improvement initiatives.

Collaborating with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met across the supply chain.

Providing guidance and training to staff on quality standards and procedures.

Reporting on quality performance to management and contributing to continuous improvement projects.
About You:
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with a strong understanding of quality management systems and manufacturing processes. You should have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Essential Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of quality systems, tools, and methodologies such as ISO standards, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing.

Experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes.

Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills.
