IT Infrastructure Engineer – CCNA Certified – Northamptonshire (Site-based Full-time)

Purpose of the role
* Deliver new technologies that support best‑of‑breed automotive‑led business.
* Deliver new innovations to question conventional thinking and improve IT department capabilities.
* Lead by example as a senior technical escalation point for a broad range of IT support topics.
* Manage stakeholders within IT and the business while delivering complex projects.
* Deliver exceptional customer service to a consistent high standard.
* Troubleshoot, problem solve and perform root‑cause analysis.
* Provide excellent research and analytical skills.
* Prioritise and self‑manage.
* Design, implement and support enterprise applications and infrastructure.
* Support and optimise in‑house and bespoke applications.

Experience Required
* Operational support at a senior technical level within a medium to large sized enterprise.
* Supporting and diagnosing enterprise WAN & LAN infrastructure.
* Planning, organising, leading and delivering complex, fast‑moving workloads with internal and external 3rd‑party resources.
* Working to recognised methodologies (ITIL, Agile).
* Broad technical experience within a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
* Supporting junior colleagues via mentoring, training, and documentation.
Knowledge
* Enterprise application, middleware, and infrastructure technologies.
* Managing and deploying to cloud platforms.
* Database support, administration, and optimisation.
* Scripting, orchestration, and automation techniques.
* Capacity, performance, and availability monitoring.
* Security, vulnerability, and malware threat prevention.
Desirable
* Working in F1 or F2 or an equivalent racing‑led business.
Qualifications
* Degree or relevant qualifications in a technology or science subject.
* Hold the following (or relevant equivalent).
