School Business Manager Location: Chesham & Amersham
Job Type: Temporary (with strong opportunity to become permanent)
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Start Date: 6th March 2026 (handover available prior)
About the Role We are recruiting an experienced School Business Manager to support 23 school sites across the Chesham and Amersham area. This is a full-time role with responsibility for finance and operational management, initially offered on a temporary basis with a clear view to permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities Manage school finance and budgeting across multiple sites
Oversee operational and business functions to ensure smooth day-to-day running
Maintain accurate financial records using IMP accounting software
Support senior leadership with financial planning and operational decision-making
Ensure compliance with school finance and operational procedures
Contribute to a structured handover and transition period
About You Essential: Previous experience working in a school setting
Strong background in finance and operational management
Experience using IMP or similar school accounting systems
Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
Confident communicator, comfortable working across more than one site
