Junior mechanical design engineer

Junior Mechanical Design Engineer needed for our Newcastle under Lyme based Client.

Position Summary:

You will work as part of the engineering team, supporting the design, development, and manufacture of products. The role covers a wide range of activities, including change management, new product development (NPD), support of production assembly processes, functional and structural testing, product design, and 3D CAD work.


Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, laser marking files, specifications, and BOMs.

Support product change management and ensure changes are accurately implemented and documented

Work closely with other teams, including Quality, Production, Procurement, and Sales, to support product introduction.

Contribute to product and process development projects.
