Job Introduction
As a Mobile Cleaning Supervisor with Sodexo, you’ll oversee cleaning operations across multiple Approved Premises (APs), approximately 25 sites, within the East Midlands region. You will supervise teams across several sites, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene to maintain safe, healthy environments.
This role involves regular interaction with your cleaning teams and clients, requiring strong communication and leadership skills. Your work will directly impact the quality of life for residents and staff within these premises.
Approved Premises play a vital role in supporting the reintegration of individuals released from prison, providing supervision, monitoring, and support in a community setting. This position offers valuable experience working in residential environments with complex and vulnerable individuals, deepening your understanding of the Criminal Justice System.
What you’ll do:
* Ensure all contracted tasks are completed efficiently and motivate your team to meet deadlines and standards.
* Use a company vehicle and fuel card to visit different sites and assist your team with scheduled cleaning tasks.
* Take responsibility for your team’s tasks, ensuring they are completed within designated timescales.
* Review the impact of your team’s work on site, providing leadership and fostering positive client feedback.
* Oversee stock and consumable orders, maintaining records for compliance.
* Champion health and safety practices—report near misses and hazards promptly.
* Conduct regular safety walks to identify and address hazards.
* Hold feedback sessions with your team to ensure confidence and job satisfaction.
What you bring:
* Full UK driving license
* Experience in a similar role, knowledge of cleaning solutions, and some leadership experience are desirable.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Ability to work quickly and adapt to change
* Team player and receptive to instructions
