Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a member of the Research and Development team in BCUHB. The role will provide research pathology support for staff across the organisation in order to manage, with the support of the Research team, all research governance and processes which need completing on behalf of the organisation.

It is expected that the role will be worked from Ysbyty Glan Clwyd mostly with the possibility of working on other sites.

The role will provide a comprehensive laboratory support for the Research and Development Department and provide advice and support to all staff within the organisation who are involved in undertaking research. This post will also develop your personal understanding of research, and give you an opportunity to work across BCUHB with a range of different staff, to assist with the pathology support of clinical research across BCUHB. As an integrated member of the research team, provide laboratory support to the delivery of the local and national research agenda.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.


Responsibilities

* Provide research pathology support for staff across the organisation.
* Manage research governance and processes with the support of the Research team.
* Provide comprehensive laboratory support to the Research and Development Department.
* Provide advice and support to all staff involved in undertaking research.
* Assist with the pathology support of clinical research across BCUHB.
* Provide laboratory support to the delivery of the local and national research agenda.
