Our well-established client based in Wimborne is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join their dynamic and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a respected business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fabrication work.
Welder Roles and Responsibilities:
* Perform MIG and TIG welding to a high standard
* Fabricate and weld light gauge sheet metal components
* Work from and interpret detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Weld using a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel
* Ensure quality control checks are carried out and standards are maintained
* Operate in a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety protocols
Welder Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding (ideally within a manufacturing or fabrication environment)
* Confident in reading and interpreting engineering and technical drawings
* Experience working with a range of metals including aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Welder Working Hours and Benefits:
* Monday – Thursday, 07:45 – 17:00
* Friday, 07:45 – 12:45
* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
* Company pension
* Flexitime
