Pharmaceutical supply chain lead

As a Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Lead your responsibilities will include, although not limited to:

* Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support business goals.
* Forecast demand in collaboration with the Commercial team.
* Balance inventory levels to ensure product availability.
* Manage sourcing of raw materials, packaging components, and third-party services.
* Evaluate and negotiate with vendors to secure favourable terms and consistent quality.
* Build strong supplier relationships and assess supplier performance.
* Ensure timely delivery of materials and finished products to customers.
* Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP and other relevant regulations.
* Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain high product standards.
* Prepare for and support audits and inspections.
* Coordinate with Manufacturing and Quality Control departments.
* Support recalls or reformulations with logistical planning.
* Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
* Use ERP and inventory systems to analyse data and identify trends.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate:
* 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain management or a similar regulated industry.
* Strong knowledge of GMP/GDP guidelines, and pharmaceutical logistics.
* Proficient in using various ERP systems and supply chain planning tools.
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Experience with global supply chain operations.
* Familiarity with serialisation, controlled drugs and cold chain logistics requirements.
* Strategic thinker with strong project management skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
