What the Role Will Involve:
Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons that focus on skill development, teamwork, and confidence building for female students.
Foster a culture of active participation and enthusiasm in physical activity across all key stages.
Promote sportsmanship, resilience, and healthy lifestyles through innovative lesson planning and extracurricular offerings.
Support the organisation of sports fixtures, clubs, and events that celebrate girls’ involvement in sport.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a broad, balanced, and inclusive PE curriculum.
Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
Be an advocate for equality and inclusion in sport, empowering all students to achieve their personal best.
The Ideal Candidate Requirements:
Be a qualified Girls’ PE Teacher with QTS and relevant teaching experience in a secondary setting.
Have in-depth knowledge of the PE curriculum and a track record of fostering high engagement among female students.
Be confident in delivering a wide range of physical activities and sports.
Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Bring creativity and commitment to both curriculum and extracurricular sport.
Be passionate about promoting physical health, personal growth, and female participation in sport.
