Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Professional with a strong background in food additives, specifically targeting the bakery and meat products industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in traditional sales, client relationship management, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients in the bakery and meat processing sectors.
· Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
· Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions using our range of food additives (e.g., preservatives, emulsifiers, enzymes).
· Collaborate with technical teams to address customer inquiries and deliver product presentations.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes affecting the industry.
· Achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining profitability.
· Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build networks and promote our products.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Essential:
o Minimum 5 years of sales experience in food additives, ingredients.
o Proven success in selling to bakery and/or meat product manufacturers.
o Strong understanding of food industry regulations (e.g., UK/EU standards) and technical product knowledge.
o Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
o Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Willingness to travel within the working country (travel in the UK for UK candidates for example) to meet clients.
o Full UK driving license
o Local language (German for candidates in Germany for example)
· Preferred:
o Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Business, or a related field.
o Existing network of contacts in the UK bakery/meat processing industry.
