Start Date: 23rd February 2026

Contract: Full-time

Rate of Pay: From £125 to £232.56 per day

About the role:

At Teaching Personnel, we are pleased to be partnering with an inclusive and welcoming primary school in Wallasey that is seeking to appoint an Early Years Teacher. Roles and Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons for a Nursery class, ensuring alignment with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and early learning goals.
* Create a warm, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment that supports children’s personal, social, and emotional development and encourages curiosity and independence.
* Provide clear, constructive feedback to colleagues, contributing to shared professional development and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the team.
* Build positive, professional relationships by liaising effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies to support each child’s overall wellbeing and progress.
* Monitor and assess children’s progress regularly, identify individual learning needs, and implement targeted strategies to help every child reach their full early learning potential.

What We’re Looking For

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
* Proven experience within the EYFS, with a secure understanding of early learning principles and best practice.
* Strong communication and time‑management skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* A confident understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to creating and maintaining a safe, nurturing learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
