Prospero Teaching Tutor Opportunities in Halifax (HX4)
Prospero Teaching is seeking Tutors in Halifax (HX4) to provide 1:1 tuition to students who are struggling with learning or do not have school placements.
The tutoring hours range from a minimum of 2 hours per week up to 10 hours, with immediate start availability.
Target students are typically within KS3-KS4 and require support in basic Maths & English.
Requirements for Tutors:
1. Possess UK classroom/mainstream teaching experience or hold a QTS or equivalent qualification.
2. Be creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box.
3. Have the right to work in the UK.
4. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
5. Provide at least two professional references covering the past 2 years (2022-2024).
