ServiceNow Technical Product Owner (Contract)
Location & Duration
West Yorkshire, UK (Hybrid). Start ASAP (Apr/May 2026). Duration 6 months.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and manage the ServiceNow product backlog, ensuring clear prioritisation based on business value
* Define and maintain product vision, roadmap, and release plans
* Translate business requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria
* Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to ensure alignment
* Participate in Agile events including:
o PI Planning
o Backlog refinement
o System Demos
o Inspect & Adapt sessions
* Drive adoption through self-service, automation, and AI-enabled workflows
* Lead UAT, demos, and value realisation activities
* Ensure compliance with ITIL, audit, and governance standards
* Act as the primary interface with business stakeholders and clients
* Support continuous improvement and platform optimisation initiatives
Key Skills & Qualifications
* 8+ years’ experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst on ServiceNow
* Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as:
o ITSM
o ITOM
o HRSD
o CSM
* Solid understanding of:
o ServiceNow platform capabilities (workflows, Flow Designer, CMDB, integrations)
o Licensing and platform constraints
* Proven experience in:
o Backlog management and prioritisation
o Agile / Scrum / SAFe methodologies
* Ability to translate business needs into delivery‑ready requirements
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Experience working with distributed teams and complex delivery environments
