Requirements
* Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably in Construction/Manufacturing/etc.
* Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and costs.
* Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, PlanSwift, Excel).
* Excellent math and analytical skills.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
* Good communication and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
* Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine scope of work.
* Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, subcontractor quotes, and time requirements.
* Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate scoping.
* Conduct risk assessments and provide value engineering options when applicable.
* Prepare and present cost estimate reports and proposals to management or clients.
* Maintain and update a database of pricing, historical costs, and vendor/supplier information.
* Assist with bid preparation and submission for tenders or proposals.
* Stay updated with market trends, pricing changes, and new materials or technologies.
