Job Description
Job Title: Textile Laboratory Assistant
(Maternity Cover - Expected Duration12 months)
Hours: 34 Hours per week
Working Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 9AM – 5:00 PM
* Friday: 9AM – 4:00 PM
Salary £21, 852
Main Purpose of Role
* To provide textile testing services in the most safe, effective and efficient manner possible.
* To ensure tests are carried out as effectively and efficiently as possible
* To ensure all tested samples are mounted neatly and are correctly identified
* To keep your working areas as clean and tidy as possible
* To help develop the textile testing provision within your area of testing as required
Qualifications
In addition to the above you’ll also need to demonstrate the following;
* Good numeracy and literacy
* High attention to detail
The following attributes would be desirable, but not essential;
* Previous Textile testing experience or Textile related qualification
