We are seeking committed Secondary Learning Support Assistants to work across secondary schools in South Wirral. This role involves supporting pupils with additional learning needs, including SEND, SEMH, and EHCP requirements, on a 1:1 or small-group basis.
You will work closely with teaching staff and SEN teams to help pupils access the curriculum, develop confidence, and make progress both academically and socially.
This is a rewarding role for individuals who are patient, resilient, and passionate about making a difference in secondary education.
The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience supporting young people in a school or similar setting
• Be confident supporting pupils with additional needs
• Work well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement
• Have a strong understanding of safeguarding
