Disaster Recovery Project Manager - Contract Location : Milton Keynes (1 day per week on-site) Rate : circa £500 per day Engagement : Outside IR35 Industry: Insurance We're looking for an experienced Disaster Recovery Project Manager to join an Insurance business on a contract basis, one day per week on-site in Milton Keynes. You'll take ownership of the DR programme - from planning and testing through to stakeholder reporting - ensuring business continuity posture remains robust and audit-ready. What you'll do Lead and coordinate disaster recovery planning, testing, and exercises Maintain and improve DR documentation and runbooks Manage risk and issue logs and report progress to senior stakeholders Ensure regulatory and compliance alignment Coordinate cross-functional teams during DR events and incidents What we're looking for Proven DR/BCP project management background Experience in insurance or financial services (highly desirable) Familiarity with ISO 22301 or equivalent frameworks Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to operate independently and hit the ground running This is an outside IR35 engagement at approximately £500 per day. Candidates must be able to attend the Milton Keynes office one day per week. Insurance sector experience is desirable but not essential.
