We are looking for exceptional individuals to join our National Careers Service Team as either Trainee or Qualified Careers Advisers.
Ideal candidates enjoy helping people and may come from backgrounds such as sales, teaching, or recruitment, with some experience in delivering careers advice. We value engaging personalities who can provide a warm, welcoming experience and a can-do attitude to find solutions that help customers progress in their careers.
As a Careers Adviser, you will make customers feel comfortable, engage with diverse backgrounds, and conduct 1:1 appointments and group workshops in various settings, including careers fairs, community venues, and pop-ups. You should be organized, confident with IT, and able to manage your diary and administrative tasks. The role is target-driven, aligned with our service delivery goals.
Your skills will empower customers to develop career action plans, support learning and development, and monitor progress to build confidence for employment or further education.
We offer on-the-job training and support to achieve a Level 4 Certificate in Careers Information and Guidance if you do not already hold this qualification.
