Key Responsibilities
* Daily Reporting: Prepare and share accurate reports with site management and commercial teams.
* Site Inductions: Welcome first-time drivers and guide them through safety protocols.
* Emergency Response: Act as the key contact during on-site emergencies, following escalation procedures.
* Data Entry: Maintain precise records in the Weightron system and ensure timely reporting.
* Traffic Management: Coordinate vehicle movements for safe and efficient operations.
* Compliance: Identify and report non-conformances promptly.
* Communication: Liaise with internal teams and visitors, using two-way radios when required.
* Weighbridge Monitoring: Check equipment is functioning correctly and within tolerance.
* Documentation Checks: Verify delivery paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential:
* Computer literacy (Excel and Word)
* Strong communication skills
Desirable:
* Experience in the waste industry
* First Aid qualification
* Knowledge of Environment Agency regulations
