Accounts Assistant/ Bookkeeper
Part Time - 20-25 hours per week

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a varied, fast paced role within a friendly and collaborative accountancy firm?
This role is ideal for someone with bookkeeping experience who enjoys working with a varied client portfolio and is looking to develop their skills within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients on a monthly and quarterly basis
2. Processing invoices, income, and receipts and entering data into accounting software
3. Preparing and submitting VAT returns
4. Producing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
5. Assisting with additional accounting duties as required
6. Handling incoming telephone calls and emails
Skills & Experience
7. Previous bookkeeping experience preferred, particularly using Xero and Sage (training available for the right candidate)
8. Strong attention to detail
9. Excellent administrative and communication skills
10. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines
11. Friendly, professional, and proactive attitude
