We have an exciting opportunity to join an amazing team passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. We are seeking a Study Programme tutor to deliver to 16-18 year olds (up to 25 with an EHCP) in Margate and other venues across Kent, as required (discussed at interview).
In addition to the responsibilities listed in the job description, the following experience and skills are required:
* Experience of successfully teaching young people.
* Awareness of current and proposed changes to DFE funding rules and their implications for KT&A's curriculum offer.
This is a fixed-term, part-time role (22.5 hours per week). You will design, plan, and manage the programme to meet financial and enrolment/engagement targets, ensuring the programme offer is balanced, meets learner needs in terms of breadth and mode of delivery, and supports learner aspirations.
This post is considered a customer-facing position by KCC. The Council has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have sufficient command of spoken English/Welsh for effective job performance, as outlined in the Job Description/Person Specification.
