Overview
A strong opportunity has become available for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well‑established industrial manufacturing business known for its reliability and consistent production standards. This role offers the chance to work within a fast‑paced environment where engineering plays a key role in operational success.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for carrying out electrical and/or mechanical maintenance depending on your bias, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and supporting the ongoing efficiency and reliability of site machinery.
Qualifications
Non‑Negotiable Requirements
* Maintenance engineering experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment
* Either mechanical or electrical bias (must be confident working within your core discipline)
* Experience with pre‑planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance in a fast‑paced environment
Essential Requirements
* Strong fault‑finding skills within either mechanical or electrical systems
* Engineering qualification (Mechanical or Electrical)
* Experience working within an industrial manufacturing setting
* Ability to work a rotating 3 shift pattern (days, afternoons, nights)
Desirable Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK
* Basic PLC knowledge or fault‑finding capability
* Experience working on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, or automated machinery
