Morson Edge are working with a well-established Tier 2 main contractor with a strong footprint across Yorkshire, who are looking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects in the Yorkshire region. This contractor delivers high-quality schemes across residential and commercial sectors and is known for repeat business, collaborative project teams, and long-term staff retention. The Role As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial responsibility for a project from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with site and senior management teams. Key Responsibilities Full commercial management of residential or commercial developments Cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting Procurement and management of subcontractor packages Valuations, variations, and change management Interim applications and final accounts Risk and value management Working closely with site teams, consultants, and clients Supporting junior commercial staff as required Requirements Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor Experience on residential and/or commercial projects Good working knowledge of JCT contracts Strong commercial and negotiation skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (or equivalent experience) What's On Offer Competitive salary dependent on experience Car allowance or company vehicle Pension and benefits package Long-term, stable role with a strong regional contractor Clear progression opportunities within a growing business Yorkshire-based projects with minimal travel Interested?
