On 1 April 2026, NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) and NHS Education for Scotland (NES) became one national organisation, focused on continuity today and a stronger, more connected service for tomorrow.
As part of this transformation, NSS and NES have joined to form a new organisation: Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland). This new organisation will play a pivotal role in supporting the renewal and ensuring the long‑term sustainability of health and care services across Scotland.
About The Organisation
PSD Scotland unites expertise from NES and NSS in a way that will allow us to accelerate national programmes to support the NHS to deliver better care, now and in the future. We support staff with education and training, provide the tools and data that improve services, and run vital national functions such as procurement, logistics and blood, tissue and cell services.
The Post
We are seeking an organised, proactive and highly motivated Facilities Compliance Manager to join our Accommodation Services team. This role is central to ensuring PSD Scotland meets its Facilities, Waste Management and National Cleaning Standards across a varied portfolio of office, warehouse, and healthcare environments.
You will play a critical role in auditing, compliance monitoring, data analysis, reporting, and supporting the effective delivery of facilities services. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
The Candidate
We are looking for a reliable and dependable individual with proven experience working within Facilities Services at management or supervisory level, who brings a strong interest in sustainability and responsible waste management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and data‑handling skills, and demonstrate the ability to work both as part of a team and on their own initiative. They should communicate clearly, build positive working relationships, and show strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities. Experience in staff management, training delivery or supervision is also desirable for this role.
This is an excellent opportunity with access to substantial CPD opportunities and career progression to join a motivated skilled workforce.
Location and Working Pattern
Regular site visits and audits will be required across multiple locations within the estate, so the successful candidate must be flexible and able to travel as part of the role.
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with PSDS.
