Benefits: Flexile hybrid working Bonus scheme (up to 10%) Early finish every Friday Internal training and development Healthcare plan 25 days holiday bank holidays Enhanced Pension Buyer Duties: Manage all sourcing activities, including raising timely purchase orders using ERP/MRP systems Build and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers and internal teams including sales, customer service, operations, quality, engineering and supply chain Monitor and expedite supplier deliveries to ensure on-time customer shipments and proactively manage risks related to delays Accurately maintain purchase order data, vendor promise dates and review supplier acknowledgements to ensure alignment with sales order commitments Resolve supplier issues such as invoicing discrepancies, delivery variances and cost queries, while supporting cross-department planning and purchasing activities as needed Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in procurement, focusing on service, cost efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction across the instrumentation group Hours: 7am – 3pm (Monday to Thursday) & 7am-2pm (Friday) Required skills & experience: Previous purchasing experience Strong IT skills Strong communication skills If you would like to discuss this Buyer role in more detail, then do get in touch with Lewis at Elevation Recruitment Group now!
