We’re working with a well-established engineering firm that delivers high-quality bespoke electrical and automation solutions across a variety of industrial sectors. As demand continues to rise, they’re now looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer to join their skilled and supportive team.
The Opportunity
This is an ideal role for someone with a solid foundation in electrical engineering who’s eager to get hands-on experience, build control panels, support installations, and grow into advanced engineering roles (think: Design Engineer, Control Systems Engineer, or Automation Engineer ).
Day-to-Day You’ll Be: Assisting with the build and wiring of control panels Performing electrical assembly, panel layout and basic testing Supporting senior engineers on installations (both in-house and on-site) Maintaining tools, documentation and adhering to all H&S standards Taking part in training and development programmes to grow your skill set
What You’ll Need:
Essential: A qualification in Electrical Engineering (BTEC, HNC or similar) Understanding of electrical systems and components Ability to read electrical schematics A great attitude, team spirit and hunger to learn Desirable: Previous experience building control panels or electrical assemblies Awareness of control systems/PLCs Full driving licence (occasional site work)
