Planning Policy and Major Sites Delivery Manager
£59,852 - £62,585 per annum | 37 hours per week | Permanent Post
Warwick District Council is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced manager to lead a team encompassing planning policy, site delivery, development monitoring and the Community Infrastructure Levy.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team in planning policy, major sites delivery, development monitoring and the Community Infrastructure Levy.
* Manage the delivery of major sites in key growth areas.
* Produce the Local Plan and other planning policy documents.
* Act as council lead on cross‑boundary planning activity.
* Monitor and assess development activity.
* Ensure the council meets its commitments to high‑quality development and the Climate Emergency agenda.
Qualifications
* Experienced and qualified planning professional with management experience.
* Proven track record of successfully delivering development projects.
* Ability to work with stakeholders in a politically sensitive environment.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage complex work and meet tight deadlines.
* Experience of formulating planning policy.
