Role overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance team. This critical role supports the delivery of our sales auditing processes, ensuring that all activity across our sales functions aligns with internal standards and regulatory expectations. You'll work closely with our Compliance Manager and cross-functional sales teams to identify areas of non-compliance, sup-port corrective actions, and maintain transparent records of risk and issue management. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate and deliver monthly compliance audits across sales activity, including listening to sales calls and validating customer accounts. • Manage the intake and organisation of regular auditing requests, ensuring timely execution and reporting. • Collaborate with sales teams to present audit findings, support root cause analysis, and track the resolution of any issues or breaches identified. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date risk and issue logs, escalating where necessary and follow-ing up on remediation progress. • Work alongside the Compliance Manager to ensure delivery of corrective and preventative action plans in response to audit outcomes or identified risks. • Assist in the continuous improvement of compliance frameworks, documentation, and pro-cesses to ensure best practice. • Contribute to compliance reporting and presentations for internal stakeholders. • Stay informed of relevant regulatory and industry changes, helping the business stay aligned with compliance standards. Key skill and experience required • Previous experience in a compliance, audit, or quality assurance role (ideally within a sales or customer service environment). • Strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver feedback constructively and influence stakeholders. • Organised and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. • Comfortable working with sensitive or confidential information with integrity. • Experience maintaining risk registers, issue logs, or similar compliance documentation. • Familiarity with Water Industry Regulation or similar industry frameworks is a plus.
