Job Description Tour Advisor Overview We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join this sales team based in York. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative company, where you can contribute to providing the best service to your customer whilst delivering sales into the business by maximising the conversion rate of every telephone enquiry. Benefits £32,000 up to £34,000 after probation Permanent Full-time Week 1 Monday to Friday 8.30-5.30pm Week 2 Monday to Friday 3.00pm-10.30pm (to be worked from home) & 2 weekend a month Sat/Sun 9-5 with days off during the week to compensate Employee discount Health and wellbeing programme Chance to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment Responsibilities Guiding customers through the booking process face to face Handling inbound and outbound calls in a friendly, efficient and professional manner, maximising upselling opportunities Engaging with the call to provide a great customer experience and maximising the conversion of sales Timely and accurate processing of bookings Communicate to line management ideas of improvement Report to the Sales Team Manager any missing information/ date on the company systems or files Qualifications Previous travel experience is a MUST and applicants without it unfortunately can not be considered Proven experience of working in a competitive sales and customer service environment and delivering to deadlines and targets Able to demonstrate an engaging and enthusiastic interest in travel Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
