We are currently seeking proactive and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as General Airside Operative. This role will cover all aspects of our airside operation
We will actively foster the development of your skills and knowledge necessary for the role.
Must have Full UK Driving Licence
Location: Edinburgh Airport
Contract: Temp to Perm
Hours: 6on 3off - Flexibility to cover morning, evenings and nights required
Pay: £12.72 p/h
Start Date: 20th April 2026
Shift patterns are provided as a guide and may be subject to change in line with operational requirements. Flexibility is essential for this role.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Receive, sort, and load baggage onto conveyor belts and handling equipment for transportation to aircraft or storage areas.
2. Utilise baggage handling systems and equipment to track, scan, and transfer luggage to designated flights.
3. Ensure compliance with airline and airport security procedures and regulations while handling and processing baggage.
4. Ensure the AAA is complete for all baggage carts which leave the baggage hall carousel or MUP areas.
