Project Coordinator – Utilities / Engineering Location: Preston / Blackburn area (commutable) Salary: Up to £35,000 benefits Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 We are working with a well-established engineering and technical services organisation delivering infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Project Coordinator to join their project management team. The Role This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-driven individual to support Project Managers in the successful delivery of complex projects. You’ll be responsible for coordinating schedules, resources, documentation, and costs, acting as the key link between office and site teams. Responsibilities include: Creating and maintaining project schedules, trackers, and job packs Coordinating labour, materials, equipment, and plant hire Ensuring compliance documentation (RAMS, drawings, project records) is completed and up to date Acting as the office-based contact for project-related queries Reviewing completed project documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy Assisting with cost tracking, variation claims, and reporting Providing project continuity and support when Project Managers are unavailable About You We are looking for someone with experience in project coordination, planning, or administration within construction, utilities, engineering, or technical services. Essential experience & skills: Strong planning, scheduling, or project administration background Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience with CRM/job costing systems (desirable) Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment What’s on Offer Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience 25 days holiday bank holidays Health & wellbeing support package Professional development opportunities Monday to Friday, office-based role (08:00 – 17:00) Requirements Full right to work in the UK Full UK driving licence Must live within a commutable distance of Preston or Blackburn
