The group reports significant profits and sits on sizeable cash balances. We are seeking to recruit an Accounts Administrator to join our Finance team based in Mallusk. Responsibilities The Accounts Administrator will primarily work in conjunction with Senior Accountants to process weekly expense runs and manage the purchase ledger for the Republic of Ireland (ROI) based payments. You will liaise with varying departments to ensure the timely and accurate submission of salary allocation sheets and perform a variety of other tasks to assist the smooth running of the Finance department. We believe this role will offer variety and a range of experience to the successful candidate. Further responsibilities will include: Managing weekly expense submissions Managing the ROI purchase ledger Opening new contracts with the use of our inhouse accounting and subcontract management software Processing of credit applications Recording petty cash and selected credit card transactions Managing salary costing allocations Costing large invoices Assisting the purchase ledger function when required Opening and distributing post Covering the switchboard when required Any other finance administrative task as required Experience Prior experience within a similar role Experience of working in a similar sector would be preferable, however not essential Competent in Excel, Word and other computer packages Strong attention to detail What's in it for you?
