We're recruiting for a well-organised fire & life safety business that looks after its engineers properly. This is a maintenance and fault-finding role – not endless install projects.
If you're confident, fault-finding, understand BS5839, and want steady work with proper support behind you, this will suit.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
* Fire alarm PPMs and reactive fault-finding
* Level 2 & Phase 2 reactive callouts
* Working across commercial sites in and around Leeds
* Participating in a structured call-out rota (not constant emergencies)
* Managing your own stocked van to maximise first-time fixes
What This Role Is NOT
* Not heavy installation work
* Not a micromanaged environment
* Not unrealistic response times
* Not a disorganised call-out system
What You Need
* Solid fire alarm maintenance & fault-finding experience
* Knowledge of BS5839
* Comfortable working alone in the field
* Professional with customers
FIA units and additional certs are useful but not a deal breaker if you've got the hands-on experience.
