Based primarily at the Birmingham Back to Backs, with regular travel to Clent Hills, we’re looking for a Business Services Co-ordinator to join us in supporting the West Midlands, Wolverhampton and Black Country Portfolio (Birmingham Back to Backs, Clent Hills, Moseley Old Hall and Wightwick Manor & Gardens). You'll be providing administration support for the portfolio and members of property leadership teams which will involve answering internal and external queries, working with our finance and procurement systems, minute taking at meetings, and volunteer and event administration.
You'll be working across all aspects of our properties and places, from the facilities team, the operations team, the collections team and the rangers and in doing so you'll get to know our places and become knowledgeable in our daily operation. You'll be integral in keeping the business-as-usual going across our seven-day operation. You'll be required to travel to other National Trust sites within the portfolio.
You’ll work a 37.5 hour week, mostly Monday-Friday, but with occasional weekend working (roughly 1 in 6) and occasional bank holidays. You'll be required to travel to all four National Trust sites within the portfolio.

What you'll be doing
You’ll be supporting day-to-day operations, and being the first person that people see when they come into the office. Your advice and experience will be sought after by others beyond the office team.
You’ll be a champion of best practice when it comes to business support, and will confidently challenge the status quo when you think there’s a better way of doing something.Excellent service standards are at the heart of what we do, whether that is external service to visitors or internal service to other members of staff. You may be organising room bookings or talks or helping to facilitate off-site meetings.
You'll regularly act as duty manager for the Birmingham Back to Backs and for Clent Hills, with specific responsibilities including safeguarding, cash and tills, fire, security and evacuation. As a hands-on Duty Manager, you'll be the main point of contact for staff, volunteers and visitors in case of emergency, enquiries or complaints.
