Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications to patients. Responsibilities
* Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Provide medication administration support under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
* Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering and restocking medications and supplies.
* Engage with patients to provide information about their medications, including usage, side effects, and storage instructions.
* Maintain accurate records of all transactions and patient interactions in accordance with pharmacy policies.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care and medication management.
* Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy workspace.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of medication administration practices and patient care principles.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
* Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and technology.
