An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading international business based near Northampton. We are seeking a technically strong Accountant for an initial 6-month day rate contract to support the team with key finance functions. This is a fantastic role for an experienced accountant who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and has a strong technical skillset.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Identify areas of improvement within existing finance processes and implement enhancements for greater efficiency.
* Play a key role in integrating a new finance system into the current business structure and assist in system testing and troubleshooting.
* Provide guidance and training to current finance team members to help them adapt to new processes and systems.
Key requirements:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience.
* Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in balance sheet reconciliations.
* Proven experience in process improvement and system integration.
* Experience working in a fast-paced, international business environment.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to train and mentor colleagues.
