The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer to join a well-established precision engineering company based in Coatbridge. This is a day shift role focused on offline programming for 3-axis milling machines, specifically Dah Lih machinery.
You will be responsible for creating and optimising CNC programs using SolidWorks CAD/CAM, working closely with the shop floor to ensure efficient and accurate production.
Key Responsibilities
* Offline programming using SolidWorks CAD/CAM
* Creating programs for 3-axis milling machines (Dah Lih)
* Interpreting engineering drawings and 3D models
* Optimising tool paths and cycle times
* Supporting machinists with technical queries and program adjustments
* Ensuring high standards of quality and precision
Requirements
* Proven experience in CNC programming (offline)
* Strong knowledge of SolidWorks CAD/CAM
* Experience with 3-axis milling machines
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Knowledge of Dah Lih machines (advantageous but not essential)
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
