With a commitment to reducing environmental impact while delivering safe waste destruction, Inciner8 plays a critical role in helping communities and industries worldwide tackle the challenges of modern waste management We are currently seeking one Apprentice Technical Assistant & Design Working week: Monday- Thursday 08:00-16:45 Friday 08:00- 12:30 exclusive of a daily unpaid break of 30 minutes on Monday to Thursday, to be taken between 12.00 and 14.00 Start and finish times may vary according to operational requirements. Total hours per week: 37.5 Expected apprenticeship duration: 42 Months Planned start date: September 2025 Apprenticeship level: Advanced Level 3 What does the job role involve? The Electrical Design Apprentices purpose is to support the engineering team in producing electrical drawings, schematics, and control panel layouts for incinerators. The role combines structured learning with practical work experience to develop the skills required to progress towards becoming a qualified Electrical & Controls Design Engineer. What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end? As well as gaining a broad range of professional knowledge and experience, you will gain academic and vocational qualifications such as the Engineering Design and Draughtsperson Apprenticeship Standard as well as the Level 3 NVQ in engineering technical support and a Level 3 sub diploma. What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship? Upon successfully completing your apprenticeship the options are endless. You could continue to develop your career by choosing to obtain further qualifications, develop and improve your management and leadership skills or even move across the different areas of the business to pursue a career in your chosen field.
