Are you a Consultant Psychiatrist looking to contribute to the leadership and clinical expertise of highly skilled and committed multidisciplinary teams within an acute female 17-bed inpatient ward in Aylesbury? Do you have an interest in working with people with severe mental illness and complex emotional needs? You will be fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and on the Specialist Register or be within six months of attaining your Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or an equivalent approved indicator of training. If you are highly motivated and able to demonstrate adapting to the changing circumstances of modern mental healthcare, we look forward to your application!
Recruitment: £15,000 plus relocation allowance
Responsibilities and requirements
* Lead and contribute to leadership and clinical expertise within a multidisciplinary team.
* Work with people with severe mental illness and complex emotional needs in an acute inpatient setting.
* Be fully registered with the GMC and on the Specialist Register or within six months of attaining CCT or equivalent.
* Demonstrate adaptability to changing circumstances in modern mental healthcare.
* Engage in teaching and training of medical students, postgraduate doctors, multidisciplinary team members and other service providers, and contribute to appraisal and mentoring of consultant colleagues.
