The role
The firm are seeking to hire a Senior Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join the firms Banbury, Oxfordshire office.
This department is well-establish and has a varied client base and workload. The variety of work will make for an interesting caseload. You work as part of a small but highly experienced team but will deal with work across a number of industry sectors.
Due to the sheer variety of commercial litigation matters, this role would suit someone with broad experience.
The work will include, but not be limited to; Shareholder disputes, Construction disputes, Professional indemnity, Contract disputes, Property litigation matters, Competition, IP, International disputes, Defamation, Privacy matters and civil fraud matters.
You will find that you have the autonomy to shape your caseload in the way that you would like. This role comes with excellent prospects for progression. You might be seeking a platform for Partnership and might have currently been hitting a glass ceiling, if so this could be the opportunity for you.
Requirements
1. You should have circa 5 years + PQE in commercial litigation matters (there is no upward limit on experience and I would urge even the most experienced of candidates to apply)
2. You should enjoy a variety in litigation work
3. You should have a desire to want to engage in business development from time to time
4. You should be an ambitious individual
5. First-class communication skills are essential
