Quest Global are seeking a highly skilled and experience security manager responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all security operations to safeguard personnel, classified information, assets and facilities within the organisation. Take a lead in all matters of the secure facility, ensuring full compliance regulatory and ensuring internal policies and procedures are adhered to. Key Responsibilities The Security Manager will take the lead in the strategic development of an effective Security culture within the organisation and the day-to-day management and delivery of Security policy, procedures, risk assessment, management and general site security processes Lead in the implementation of National Security Vetting (NSV) aftercare within the organisation and any subcontract organisations Security Manager will ensure that they have the necessary UKSV access to have effective oversight of both the vetting process and the vetting sponsor activities of any sub-ordinate vetting sponsor accounts Ensure security controls for a new contract and ensuring that the controls that may be required under Security Aspects Letters (SAL's) are complied with Ensures that strategic plans are deployed, which satisfy the current and ongoing needs of the Company's business strategy, and its current and future capabilities. Control of the asset register of all SUKEO parts working along side the Program Managers to ensure the list is kept upto date Ensure all aspects of protectively marked material control and storage and destruction is done appropriately. Audit of assets both physical and documents musters Promotes policies, practices and decisions which recognise the current and evolving needs of all the stakeholders Preparing and implementing the Company Security Instructions, ensuring that any new or revised policy is appropriately staffed and considered throughout the organisation, liaising with other departments such as HR to ensure Personnel Security is considered and embedded within all appropriate policies Implement a policy to brief/de-brief Security Check (SC) and Developed Vetting (DV) cleared staff who may travel to certain foreign countries, either on business or in their private life. Work Experience Required Skills (Technical Competency): UK security management experience a formal Project Management qualification is desirable Strong knowledge of defence security protocols and classified information handling Risk assessment and crisis management expertise Leadership and team management capability High integrity and discretion Excellent analytical and reporting skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office package Word, PowerPoint, MS Excel, Teams, Project Education and experience Bachelors degree in in security management, defence studies or related field 8 12 years of experience in defence, military or high -security environment Strong communication skills, confident interacting with a range of stakeholders Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
