Job Description As Kitchen Porter carry out all required duties within the stewarding department and all related areas in accordance with standards set in the performance manual for the department. A little bit about what you will be doing: To assist with the cleaning of operating equipment during banquet functions or at peak periods in back of house areas related to the outlets To wash and polish all operating equipment and cooking utensils and examine cleanliness before distribution To distribute cleaned equipment to appropriate locations To clear all used operating equipment for washing in accordance with the systems in use To place all cleaned items in the appropriate storage areas or distribute to various outlets To assist in the preparation of operating equipment for functions, inventories and other requirements and distribute To ensure standards with personal hygiene and grooming are consistently met
