We are seeking a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join the Year 4 team, providing tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) through both one-to-one and small group interventions. The Role: As a Year 4 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils’ academic progress and emotional wellbeing. Your role will be instrumental in fostering a nurturing learning environment and adapting activities to meet individual needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver one-to-one and small group support for pupils with diverse SEN needs Assist in planning and delivering personalised learning activities Support the implementation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Promote an inclusive and positive classroom culture Collaborate with teaching staff, SEN professionals, and external agencies Monitor and report on pupil progress and engagement About You: We’re looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
