You will be instrumental in promoting health and independence by delivering high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions, along with providing clinical leadership, supervision, and consultation to the wider multidisciplinary team.
You will be key in demonstrating highly specialist expertise and skills in areas such as occupational engagement, environmental adaptation, and the development and maintenance of skills needed for meaningful participation.
You will also have experience managing a designated caseload, including completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned with care plans.

Your responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist will include:
* Communicating effectively with clinicians, managers, directors, associate directors, service users, carers/supporters, family members, stakeholders, and agencies
* Providing compassionate and effective leadership to junior staff, including support staff and assistants
* Ensuring the delivery of occupational therapy student placements
* Supporting the completion of appraisals and personal development plans with junior staff
* Developing and implementing appropriate policies, protocols, and care pathways
To be a successful Occupational Therapist, you will need:
* An Occupational Therapy qualification
* Extensive and relevant post-qualification clinical experience with adults who have complex needs
* Experience applying occupational frameworks and approaches
* Strong clinical reasoning skills
* Knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models
* Understanding of working with vulnerable individuals
