Senior Site Engineer
They are seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Senior Site Engineer to oversee construction and projects on‑site. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications.
Responsibilities
* Supervise day‑to‑day construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans and safety standards.
* Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project progression.
* Conduct site inspections regularly to monitor progress, quality, and safety adherence.
* Assist in planning and scheduling project phases, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
* Review technical drawings and specifications, providing feedback or adjustments as necessary.
* Manage on‑site resources effectively, including labour, materials, and equipment.
* Ensure all electrical installations meet relevant codes and standards; troubleshoot electrical issues as they arise.
* Prepare detailed reports on project status, issues encountered, and resolutions implemented.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience in new building engineering projects.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
* Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations within construction environments.
* Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for planning and reporting purposes.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
* Problem‑solving aptitude with a proactive approach to addressing site challenges.
